Often it Happens
I often find the ego of pride getting slightly annoyed at
having to be kind and nice to the person who slings a few rough words and who
has no care or interest in being respectful.
But that is a wrong attitude! Why should we resent
expressing the values of our Being? Silly right? Because the more we express
the qualities of our essence the more it grows and the stronger it gets, and
that helps us.
The arrogant person gives us the chance to make our essence
grow stronger.
So, with this we can change our thinking and never again
resent having to bow down a bit to the arrogant person. Even we can change the
way we perceive the arrogant person, and see them as a helper and even feel a
bit for them, because the price of arrogance is always humiliation. This law is
impeccable, it always carries forward.
Like Weight Training
The heavier a weight the stronger our muscles get when we repeatedly lift the weight. So the greater the resistance that we overcome in being humble to an offender the more we are developing our essence!
